Scheme Summary
OVERNIGHT ROAD SAFETY INVESTIGATION ON A90 IN JUNE TO INFORM BARRIER IMPROVEMENTS
Amey is undertaking a series of overnight road safety investigations into vehicle restraint systems (VRS) across the north east trunk road network to inform barrier improvements.
The investigations will be carried out at 10 separate locations during June across the A9, A90, A92 and M90 between 7.30pm to 6.30am each night.
The first investigation is set to begin on Monday 5th June and the last scheduled to occur on Friday 23rd June.
To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists the work, which Amey is undertaking on behalf of Transport Scotland, will take place using a series of lane closures at each location.
The A90 works will take place at the following date and location:
Monday 5th June
- Perth and Kinross – A90
- A90 from A85 Roundabout to Longfarden Off Slip VRS Replacement
- Lane 2 closures
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
